Philipp Blum

I am a philosopher, currently employed as (approximatively) fixed-term senior research associate / lecturer at the University of Lucerne (Chair of Philosophy: Prof. G. Ventimiglia, Faculty of Theology). I am also an editor of dialectica, an international philosophy journal, founder and vice-president of www.philosophie.ch and project manager of ousia, the Swiss Doctoral Program in Philosophy.

I am married to Rosalia Blum, and father of two daughters: Aurora (born 2012) and Amalia (born 2014). Some time ago, I have changed my name from "Keller" to "Blum".

Before coming to Lucerne, I spent a year at Humboldt University in Berlin, working on Kant, and before that (and a paternal break) another year working with Logos, at the University of Barcelona. I did my MA at the University of Berne and then spent a long time in Geneva, as an assistant then scientific collaborator and coordinator of the research group eidos. I spent the academic year 2009-2010 as a postdoctoral researcher at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and was, for some time, a research consultant at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Lausanne.
